Leadership

Editor’s Note: Leading with Good

There’s lots of good news to share in this edition of HRO Today. First, I wanted to thank our dedicated readers who participated in our most recent Readers’ Survey. Just like great HR teams, we value feedback and leverage it when planning for the future, including what to cover in HRO Today and at HROToday.com.

What do our readers seek? The latest research is favored by most with 69% in agreement, followed by case studies (66%). We deliver on the latest research in this issue with coverage of the top compliance issues of 2025 from Paychex and sentiments around worker confidence with our latest WCI sponsored by Yoh Recruitment Process Outsourcing.

Our Baker’s Dozen Customer Satisfaction Ratings™ continue to hold great influence in the industry with 83% of readers reporting our rankings impact their decisions. This time around we take a look at the top leaders in relocation services.

The Readers’ Survey is also a good temperature check on how HRO Today is doing as a source of information that helps HR succeed. I’m happy to report that:

  • 90% report HRO Today is well written;
  • 84% feel HRO Today delivers the right information for HR leaders;
  • 81% say HRO Today helps them think strategically about their organization’s future; and
  • 80% feel HRO Today is an objective source of information about the industry.

In addition to sharing good news about ourselves, we recognize the top 100 HR departments with our annual HR100. The ranking aggregates performance of HR teams in eight core categories including workplace culture, employee benefits, diversity and inclusion, employee development and talent management, human resources innovation, leadership development, talent acquisition, and employer brand. Be sure to check out to check out what companies made the list and the scoop on what it takes to make the list.

Until next time,

Debbie Bolla
