Association Members Shine at HRO Today Forum, North America

The HRO Today Forum, North America, the premier event for HR leaders, recently wrapped up another successful program earlier this month. This year’s Forum featured stellar contributions of Association members, affirming their pivotal role in shaping the future of human resources. Among those contributing were:

  • Steve Antonoff and Dr. Virnitia Dixon, who each lead robust discussions during the C-TEN and Board of Advisors meetings, respectfully.
  • Alex Kweskin, who moderated a Think Tank session and presented a CHRO of the Year award.
  • Sarah Fass, Town Hall panelist participant.
  • Marjo Charbonnier, a CHRO of the Year award recipient and on-stage interview participant.
  • Margie Harris, another CHRO of the Year award winner.
  • And our HR Service Provider members who sponsored the event: ActOne Group, AMN Healthcare, Cielo, Hudson RPO, Korn Ferry, PeopleScout and Sevenstep.

Thank you to these members and companies for their active support of the event and their overall  dedication to driving innovation and excellence in the HR industry.

Dive Deep into DEI and TA/TM Topics – Join a Knowledge Center

Last month, the Association’s Knowledge Centers hosted two insightful Roundtables, providing members with valuable discussions on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and Talent Acquisition/Talent Management (TA/TM). The DEI Knowledge Center Roundtable (April 4) delved into the evolution of DEI initiatives, featuring a presentation on transitioning DEI from an HR function to a standalone division. Judy Huie, VP – DEI Business Officer at Freddie Mac, shared her organization’s journey, sparking a lively discussion among attendees.

Continuing the momentum, the TA/TM Knowledge Center Roundtable (April 17) explored the transformative role of AI in talent acquisition. Co-Chairs Cherice Schmidt, EVP, Client Services at Cielo and Scott Sell, Chief Talent Acquisition Officer at Mercy, delivered a comprehensive presentation, highlighting AI’s impact on bias and providing real-world examples.

Knowledge Center membership offers exclusive access to Roundtable recordings, allowing members to stay abreast of industry insights. Additionally, joining these communities connects members with peers sharing similar interests and experiences, all at no cost—a value-added benefit.
